The International School Aamby accepts enrolments for boys and girls from within India and abroad, starting at Standard 3. The 2009/10 academic year commenced on 31st August 2009 with enrolments being accepted from January 2009. We welcome enquiries from interested parents anytime during the year.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT:

STANDARDS 3 To 6
Students entering Primary School (Standards 3 to 6) may be asked to sit a diagnostic test in English.

STANDARDS 7 To 12
Students entering Middle School (Standards 7 to 11) or Senior School (Standards 11 to 12) will normally be required to undertake an entrance examination in both English and Mathematics. Entrance examinations are held prior to admission. Placements are confirmed only after an assessment of the student's latest school reports and the result of an entrance examination if required. Please note that all students are required to attend an interview with the Principal before confirmation of a place in the school.

INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES / NRIS
For prospective students from abroad, the entrance examination can be scheduled in their local school (or in the Indian Embassy of the country where the student is studying) providing the parents obtain a ‘no objection certificate’ from the Head of the School / Embassy (an email address has to be provided to us for sending the question papers).

It is very important that both parents or the authorized guardian/s of the student visit the School to sign documentation. International students will require a nominated guardian.

We expect every child to be happy and cheerful once he/she joins ISA. We will not admit any child unless the parents or a responsible person from the family visits the School.

APPLICATION PROCESS
An Application Form may be downloaded from our website and sent to International School Aamby whereupon the student’s name will be registered for admission. Kindly note that registering the name of a child does not ensure a place in the school, this can depend upon the performance of a child in an entrance examination or assessment of his/her current results, as well as vacancies in the class for which admission is sought. International students must provide a copy of their passport and visa details at the time of application. Once a position has been offered by the school, all fees are then payable by Demand Draft in favour of "Aamby International School Academy”. A place in the school cannot be confirmed until all fees are received.

All documentation for enrolment needs to be furnished during the time of admission. It is necessary to complete both our Application and Medical forms and submit these to the Admissions Office.
